Develop acting skills, build confidence, connect to yourself and others.
Fun for Beginners is perfect for anyone who’s always wanted to try out acting as well as for all of us who want to have less fear around giving presentations, interviews, or social occasions. Using acting tools as well as embodiment techniques, you’ll learn how to manage your nerves and communicate with real connection and impact.
The course is also a very supportive group space where you can explore how to live your life more fully and connect to the creative and carefree self that we all had as children and which adult life tends to exile. In short, it’s the perfect way to have meaningful fun with new friends after a long London day! No previous experience is required.
– Fun, group exercises and ensemble work to build trust and connection
– Explore yourself as a person and how you relate to the world
– Boss your anxieties and develop daily practices that will help you self-regulate
– Practise vital acting techniques and learn how to present with real impact and presence
– Work on scenes from a play or film to have fun and connect to your life-force
The drama course is spread over 7 weekly sessions of 2 hours each. We keep group sizes small in order to give you lots of individual feedback and encourage a fun and friendly atmosphere in which you can learn and grow.
