Scene Work has been designed as a follow on from Fun for Beginners, but is open to anyone who has completed an equivalent beginner’s course or who feels they already have basic acting experience.

The classes run weekly for 6 weeks Thursdays 7-9pm in Angel June 26 – July 31.

Rehearsing a scene from well-known plays and films every week, you’ll play with different acting techniques to help you develop as an actor, continue to explore who you are, and build self-confidence outside the rehearsal room.

– Rehearse and act scenes from plays and films
– Explore acting techniques from Stanislavski to Meisner
– Understand how to use yourself to create a character and engage with text
– Continue to build confidence and explore the way you present to the world
– Allow yourself to trust your authentic power and develop your spontaneity and imagination

The drama course is spread over 6 weekly sessions of 2 hours each. We keep group sizes small in order to give you a lot of individual feedback and encourage a friendly and fun atmosphere in which you can learn and grow.
